The attic is a place where I put a selection of projects never realized or finished artwork that just never found their time and place. It could be loose ideas or finished concepts and plan drawings. I'm regarding the attic as an experiment, interested in whether ideas start evolving or if they just fall into their final rest when stowing them in here. The attic can also be a place to put images of things that I don't occupy myself with anymore. It's not impossible to put also complete failures in here.
In short, this is my attic.

You have to watch this object from far away to be able to see that the letters read "close".

A dead rat with two flies steadily positioned where the eyes should have been. Eating the eyes they move their wings, reanimating the rat. This video would have to be presented in high resolution to make the subtle impression perceivable.

I would go around the countryside of Sweden in hunt for aesthetically and interestingly vandalized wind panes at bus stops. Steal them and replace them with new panes with a printed diploma on it. I would then exhibit the stolen vandalized pane.
This project was never realized, mostly because the presentation would be really ugly - in a bad way. But I do like bus stop PVC panes that are vandalized by bored youth.

A surreal video loop. A normal image of a man doing the washes turns into an exaggerated extatic expressionistic painting accompanied by normal kitchen sound turning into a male masturbation. After the release the image and sound calms down to dry realism againg. This transformation goes on in a never ending loop.

One of a series of stuffed square objects. Text airbrushed on a super strethy fabric. By controlling the way the fabric was stretched I altered the shape of the text in relation to the meaning of the words.

The first thing I ever did on video. Made in collaboration with a friend, Patrik Dahlberg, during our absolutely first video class, at the Valand Academy of Fine Arts in Gothenburg, Sweden. The video is partly an ironic commentary to one of Sweden's most notorious television journalists.

The two last paintings I made. It was in 1995 on Valand Academy of Fine Art. I was just about to discover video. The last time I exhibited any paintings was in a separate show at Galerie du Nord in 1993.
